Around the Netpost is owned by Rick Rojas – a fave on the mainline known for his passion for tennis, enthusiastic teaching style and ability to get the best out of his players.
We have a great group of pro’s on staff who are all certified and experienced.
Many of them are either director of outdoor tennis facilities, head coaches for local colleges or extremely established tennis professionals with a large following.
All of our pros have a common goal – they all sincerely enjoy working with players to get the best out of their game.
A good foundation is the key to developing your game of tennis. Our instructors clearly explain the fundamentals of the game.
Beginner lessons start in September, January, and April.

Amanda has been a pro on the mainline for over 16 years. She is a current record holder at Philadelphia University in both singles and doubles. She loves watching players grow their love of the game. She is also asst director of tennis at St Albans. Private lessons: $105 per hour
Pam has been playing tennis since she was 5 years old. A multisport athlete, her love of racquet sports always brought her back to tennis. She has taught tennis for 15+ years to juniors-adult, from Beginners to National Ranked Players- who have played the Orange Bowl, US Open Qualifier and Wimbledon. A tactician, Pam enjoys honing players strengths., while crafting new skills and depth to their game. Pam is the owner of L3 tennis. Private lessons: $130 per hour
Mark Spangler leads both tennis programs at Eastern. He took the leadership of the men's program in 2008 and the women's program in the fall of that same year. Coach Spangler has nearly 20 years of experience teaching the game at several local tennis programs. He has instructed at the Riverside Racquet Club in Bala Cynwyd, PA, and the Delaware Valley Tennis Academy in Bryn Mawr, PA, where he coached many ranked USTA junior players. As a college coach, he is committed to seeing his student-athletes have success on the tennis court and in the classroom as they grow in their faith as they become people of integrity. He lives in Conshohocken with his wife Carline, son Julien and daughter Willow.
Former college standout at Wittenburg University and professional player, Jamie brings with him over 30 years of experience teaching in Florida, New Jersey and the mainline. Jamie was the director of tennis at UMLY. He is know for his passion for the game along with is sense of humor. Private lessons $100 per hour
